Well-off people should voluntarily give up LPG subsidy: PM | The Economic Times Video | ET Now
Many questions after I checked these links and also NAMO's tweets on giving up LPG subsidy.
- Shouldn't he walk the talk with his MPs and other candidates?
- Why introduce the LPG subsidy if it should be given up by the well-off?
- Will this extend to other utilities?
- Are the so called 'well-off' really 'well-off'?
- Why is this applicable only for resident Indians?
- Should we have a law that defines the who is well-off and who should give up the subsidy instead of asking for volunteers?
- Is the money saved really reaching the poor for their present and future?
- Why are the super rich not targeted?
- What other options can we have instead of giving it up?
- Would you give it up or not?
Please post your thoughts.
