cross stitch saree

Hi all,

This is a cross stitch done on silk saree with the help of nets. I don't know what the cloth is called so I am calling it 'net'. This is first fixed on the saree and then the cross stitch is done on it. Once the embroidery is over, we have to pull out the threads which leaves the design behind.

If anybody can let me know the name of the net used , please let me know.
