The other day my MIL caught up with an old episode of "neeya naana" (A debate show on TV that I don't really get to watch)

The episode was a debate between MILs and DILs of the world (whoever dared to venture here !!!) Their perspective of where the trouble really lies in the equation of MIL and DIL. Everyone who participated came up with their own examples.

When we were all having dinner, my MIL deliberately quoted some of the incidences shared. Her idea was to indirectly tell me how horrible DILs generally are and all that MIL suffer at the hands of DILs.

A couple incidences caught my attention and wanted to know what you "feel" about these

MIL's version

Son stitches saree fall for DIL (no.. he is not a tailor by profession). My heart aches. Anchor asks why.. MIL says I don't know but it aches

DIL's version

My MIL does not let me put rangoli. When the MIL was questioned, she says "my DIL anyway does not wake up before 8 in the morning. Whats the point of putting rangoli so late.. .. so I put it myself"
