Doubt....Steaming Cakes!
A friend of mine does not have an oven, but would like to try steaming a cake and she has asked me recipes for an eggless cake.
I do have one or two recipes, but I normally bake the cake in a proper oven. Now, my doubt is, can this same recipe be followed if the cake were to be steamed in a pressure cooker without whistle? Also, can water be used instead of salt or sand in the pressure cooker? Most sites said sand...Please suggest.
