I met this co worker at one of the induction training after I joined my current employer.. He is also from India and almost of same age as me (he has wife and son 4 yrs old).. He talked very nicely and seemed to be interested in friendship.
He called me after training and tried to keep in touch and we met few times in kitchen/recreation area for cofee etc.. He seemed to be sailing same boat as we are currently in terms of whether to stay in this country or go back to india, market going down, problems of kids, social isolation etc etc so we both perhaps could relate to each other very well (that's what I thought in beginning). I also told my hubby about him and he said same (that he told his wife abt me).. we also decided to meet with families etc...so all in all our friendship was good.. he even introduce to some of his co workers who are from india etc ..
However after few days he started asking questions like is urs [COLOR=#009900 !important]arranged[/COLOR] marriage and started light flirting.. before couple of weeks he started saying that he is bit [COLOR=#009900 !important]bored[/COLOR] with his marriage and wanted to have girlfriend who can be with him only when he wants and he asked me aapki naraj me koi hai kya ? I just twicked the question saying ' I dont keep eye on ladies" to which he said "meri naraj me ek hai" and then he asked me arn't you gonna ask who is she ?? I got the point and said to him that "whoever she is you should make clear that u want such part time girlfriend and bhagwan bachaye us bechari ladaki ko", He got it and only said hahaha...
From this discussion onwards he almost reduced his contacts with me and I did not wanted to continue friendship as well [COLOR=#009900 !important]cause[/COLOR] I got his intentions clear...
He send me email yesterday saying sorry for not keeping in touch.. I am bit [COLOR=#009900 !important]busy[/COLOR][COLOR=#009900 !important]blah[/COLOR]blah... I really dont know how to approach him now (even if we don't work in same dept there are always instances we come face to face often..)
Should I just keep hi bye relation ?
Should I ignore him completely and stop talking to him ?
What if he again ask for coffee or [COLOR=#009900 !important]chat[/COLOR] ??
