I saw it and pitied it ever since!
How can it stand alone there?
Even if I were for a minute, I'll wince
And try to seek company here and there.
Alone Not!
How can it stand alone there?
Even if I were for a minute, I'll wince
And try to seek company here and there.
It reminds me of a situation I
Don't want to even dream for any.
After my end too, I wouldn't wish to lie,
Alone. Instead, will stay with many.
An unlucky chap, perhaps a departed soul,
Someone who committed a heinous crime,
A seeker who never reached his ultimate goal,
Are closer I felt. There was nothing sublime.
Perhaps that eternal character which
Lived to see his great grandchildren,
Died when he wished, a great man as such,
Must have been similar, I thought then!
The lone palm tree in that vast desert,
Resembling Bhishma, a true warrior,
Tall, never bent, and did not desert
Its position, made me to feel it as dear!
Alone Not!
