Which plant is this?

Hi Ladies,

recently came across this plant/weed after returning from long vacation in my flower pot. It gets yellow flowers first and then turning into some thorny thing.. I am unable to recognize if this is any good plant to keep or some grass weed. suggestions needed from any senior gardeners
