Help needed in brushing toddler

Hi Moms,

I have a 21/2 year toddler who does all the things but will not spit out when brushing

She happily swallows all of it,No matter how many times i told her and showed it.

I am worried will swallowing have any negative effects on health and btw..i am still using child tooth paste for her.

Kindly give me tips leadies.How did you manage to teach your toddler..
