Life is a game of waiting.

From birth to death it is always a game of waiting.

Certain waiting as a kid is at the hospital for regular vaccination or health issues along with the parents, then the school admission which has turned a nightmare these days. The list is endless – college admissions, ID cards, Bank A/C opening, ration cards, aadhaar card, pan card, passport and the ought nots… The wait for the job offers, confirmation, appraisal, bonus/increments, wait for other offers, relieving, etc.

Thanks to the smart phone which has greatly reduced waiting physically in the queue. But have to wait for a refund virtually for a failed online transaction though.

There is another bigger wait – if you have/had a girlfriend you will know for sure. :)

Luckily/Unluckily if you are married then for sure you would be waiting for her to get ready, you would be waiting for her to finish her unending choices at many many retail outlets. :):):)

Endless waiting game till the end beckons – if you are seriously ill then a waiting game at the hospital to be discharged or relieved finally for ever, when the money to be paid is exhausted. :)

Of all the waiting games that life plays with you, there is the mother of it all -Outside the delivery ward of an expecting mother - your wife.

Here is the test of your nerves – all emotions will be simultaneously challenging you one after the other – happiness, fear, thrill, sadness, helplessness, eagerness, anger and many others that you may not really be able to either name or express, however linguistic you are.

It’s all for two lives, for the one that gave life to you by holding your hand and for the one that you both gave life to. It is the art of waiting, it is the heart of waiting – waiting for your heart and the new born art, heart of you both.

Please ask the da vinci’s, picasso’s and the likes of van gogh’s to go for a walk and paint something better than ours and ask them if their creations are greater than this art? And is the waiting for their art is it worth the wait for this art - the priceless masterpiece...
