How to pay her back?

I'm 11 weeks pregnant and the gynaecologist whom we are seeing is our family friend. Bit of background is that the doctor's father worked was my husband's senior in office and they are really close. Also when this doctor was on the verge of divorce my husband was the one who patched up her back with her husband. Eventually this doctor's husband has also become friend of my husband.

So this doctor never accepts consultation fees from us. We tried explaining this is your business but no she point blank refuses. She then said post delivery give me a dinner in star hotel that'll do.

We are bit uncomfortable with this. She is really attentive to us and takes minimum 30 mins for each consultation of us.

My FIL suggests why don't you give her something like gold coin post delivery. My husband is thinking why don't I pay to her father who can in turn pay her? I need some suggestions here on how to go about it.
