MIL clapped like a little girl

Hi all,

You read about my friend who had an accident a month back and her MIL looked after her till her parents reached her place!

She is staying with other son in the same apartment to give space to DIL's parents - and visits her many times a day to give her medicines, and to discuss the newspaper with DIL

I visit her at least 3-4 times a week ! To bring medicines or special items to ease her stay in bed or just to spend time and share songs!

They've started physiotherapy just 2 days back, and when I was there, with the help of the physiotherapist, my friend was able to move her leg and touch the floor ( She cant put weight on it yet, so no walking) but knee bent a bit, so her big toe touched the floor after almost a month - with so much pain that my friend was in almost in tears

And her MIL clapped ! Like a little girl - she said wow DIL you are the best, you are such a brave girl ! See, your toe is touching the floor !!

I have to get ready for your first walk - I have to make bobbatlu*

( Bobbatlu - obbatu - pooran poli - poli - stuffed sweet flat bread - is made when your baby walks for the first time )

I'm sure if the MIL was younger than her 65+, she would have danced a little jig!

I could only look on smiling in wonder at the MIL's love for DIL and think of sharing on IL
