urgent query regarding taking loan

hi evryone,

i have a question regarding taking up loan for buying home. i have co-signed for an education loan for a student from my relatives. can i take a loan for my own for buying home? co-signing loan was not known to my family and was kept secret due to some family problem reasons. will this co-signing thing come up during the processing of my new home loan?

need information regarding this very urgent.. plz help me ..
