Hi All,
My 8 month old son has suddenly started rejecting bottle and it’s becoming difficult for me to feed him at night.
He is a BF baby, at 3 months I started bottle during day time feeding and would nurse him at night time. At that time he was doing fine with both bottle and nursing. At 4 month he went to day care for 6 weeks, there he used to take bottle only from his teacher and would reject if anyone else tried to feed him and after I picked him up, he would make up for his missed feeding in the car with a bottle.
Mid November we took him off of daycare and took care of him at home, at same time we also started solids, water with Sippy cup for him. He was doing fine and in January we hire a nanny, again he started rejecting milk bottle from Nanny, but by that time he was not solids and taking milk in between meals. So I suggested her to try giving milk in Sippy cup, which he learned in 2-3 days and now takes milk in Sippy during day time.

I used to feed him milk with bottle at 10 in his sleep and nurse him at 2 and 6. All of a sudden from last week he is rejecting bottle. He wants to nurse, if I force him he will cry and goes back to sleep, and the moment I put him down he will cry aging for milk. Since I am back to office I pump after coming home around at 6:00 and there is no enough milk for him to feed at 10 which make him crankier. There is no option to pump in my office during afternoon. If I try to feed him in Sippy, that is waking him up and he starts playing after drinking milk and sleeps again at 11:30 or 12:00.
Please suggest me how to handle this?
