I M only daughter inlaw of my PIL. I have one daughter she will be 3 years on this April. My MIL SIL are directly indirectly asking me to plan for a second baby. They are not forcefully pressuring me but doing emotional blackmailing kind of thing. Planning for a second baby is not my issue, My issue is that my MIL want me to deliver a baby boy this time(She was expecting boy at my fist delivery also).
What if i deliver a daughter again? My husband also wants a boy coz he don't have brother and if we will not have son then there will be no man left in there generation. He want to try for another 2 time for son I just want 2 babies in my life. Whether son or daughter that doesn't matter to me but all of my in laws are expecting baby boy from me. My husband is supporting and loving but he is scared of loneliness. He keep on saying that if we won't have son, our daughter will also go to other's house then we will have to live our elderly life all alone but i feel daughter are more emotional and supporting than son.
My MIL has six daughters and one son. She give birth to 6 daughter one by one with 2 years gap just to have a son and i think she wanted me to do the same.
Once i asked what is the guarantee that there will be boy in second time? she said that she will take me to her native place for gender test and will abort baby if there will be a girl but i am totally against her decision. Earlier my husband was also supporting her(not in-front of her) but once my husband saw video about how babies are aborted then he is also against doing such thing.
Now i m really in pressure if i will plan for second baby and if she will be girl then again they will ask me for trying again. God what to do. Plz help me out.
