Now people in village in Goa, have said "No kissing in public". ( Goa village bans kissing in public - The Hindu )
While some are obviously "upset", the question is - in a place/city/country which is not used to PDA, what's wrong in saying "Kiss in private" and dont do it in public? Or if we need to be so-called-broadminded to accept kissing in public, then who and how do we draw the line? What is the line?
A line which is acceptable to one, is not acceptable to another. Is there any such things as a "commonly acceptable" line that can be drawn for PDA?
People who were in India in 80s, could not accept PDA kissing. But, after they migrated abroad, and lived in Western countries for 10-20 years, they are easy going on PDA kissing. But, when in 80s in India - they did find it "not acceptable".
So if two lovebirds grope vulgarly or fondle vulgarly in future - are we not supposed to say "Go get a room". Is that an acceptable PDA in future because some countries will bless that and eventually globally it needs to be blessed? What next?
The question is - What is a public acceptable PDA? Who decides what an acceptable line to draw?
Ofcourse within four walls, its none of the business of public.
pda: Whats the limit? When does one say "You two, go get a room"?
