New to Omaha... Is this really such dead place or ..........

Hi

I am new to Omaha. Since I came here I hardly get to see people on week ends. I say week ends coz on week days i am busy with office and house related work. Even when I go around for a walk I could not find any body... looks like i am in a lonely place where there are nobody. Strange thing I noticed is that there are several Indians in the apartments we live. But no one talks to each other.

Is this how every where in USA or its specialty of Omaha... ?

I am looking for new friends ...........
