I would go to college by bus. As i had to change two buses, i had a bus pass with me , which i used to carry everyday. That evening, after my usual college, i went to attend my coaching class, which was almost 45 min travel from college and even longer from home. I took my seat and was waiting for the lecturer . As soon as he entered, he smiled and said "surprise test" and i think my heart skipped a beat. After an hour, I started feeling pale (the usual cramps, dizziness), took permission and went out. I was so weak that i did not have the stamina to wait for the bus and i knew i had only Rs.17 with me
As a seventeen year old, i did not think much, just called an auto and told him to take me to the bus stop from where i can take one direct bus home. The whole time ,my eyes were on the auto meter. Before I could reach the stop, it came close to Rs.17 and i asked the auto driver to stop . When i said, I have only this much and I will walk to the bus stop. To my surprise, he said " I can make out that you are not well and I cannot leave you here. I will drop you at the bus stop and you can pay me whatever you have ". I was so moved by his kindness.
A busy street, broad daylight and the bus stop nearby, I knew he was being sincere.
I don't remember the man's face but still remember his words and his kind act. I thank him through this post.
Has anyone experienced something like this from a complete stranger? Please do share :)
An autodriver's kind act :)
