upsc exam

my brother is a B.E graduate, he is a civil service aspirant.made 4 attempts still couldnt succeed.really is it very hard to clear?pls share your views regarding this

Congrats to your brother to have the thought to pursue and work hard to attempt civil service exams.

It isn't that hard but it needs strenuous preparation and practice simultaneously, his sheer hard work and time will achieve him success,

It is sad that School/ College studies have become more Mark/ Grades/ Certificate oriented, hence what is suppose to be easy and from the same syllabus, looks tough as the whole thing has be prepared again in the point of view of UPSC exam, if need be he attend coaching classes to get help about what he doesn't understand.
