Little! - 3

How can the hands that roll

The cradle push it too?

He wondered as it shook him whole,

Taking more than his life. True!

Yes, she was soon diagnosed with

A rare disease which left them but

A lot more closer and the depth

Of their love turned many eyes wet.

For the first time in his life

He believed in something small,

The chance of survival of his wife

Knowing that there isn't much after all.

She cheered him whenever she could,

Hating to see him sad anytime.

Her sense of humour made it good

And they enjoyed those little times.

Little did others know of them.

Little that they worried about that.

Little things said and done by him

Made her days a lot happier but.

She looked like a baby fast asleep

When she passed away. He didn't weep.

But just remembered that degree of leap

His mind had when she had agreed.

There is little left in his life but he

Lives filling it with those moments.

Little by little he might just be

Able to move on, but doesn't lament.
