How do we handle this situation !

Hi all,

I have a 10 yr old as usual he gets to play with his age group kids in park, we are 3 families in a group and our kids like to play with each other very well.

We take them to park every Sunday and allow the boys to play for 2-3 hrs every weekend , also the other too families always arrange for play date among themselves apart from playing in the park.

We were never invited nor we did want to fit in,so we stay out of the whole play date thing. The problem is whenever we meet in the park one lady makes it a point to discuss their play date and the stuff they will do in front of all kids. She will also try to make it public that how the other 2 kids enjoy their play date and have fun . Sometimes from the park the 2 kids will have a sleepover and will be taken to eat out and my son will not be even offered to join .

Its not been the first time but it's becoming a routine and as all normal kids my son feels left out . Personally I am not that fan of this lady so I don't want to force my son into it , but I am in a fix . I have tried explaining things to my son saying .... We cannot force us on anybody ..... But he feels Bad .

Please advice , my husband feels we should ignore , but I always find myself in a odd situation when they start discussing and I just keep looking at other side .

How do we handle this situation !
